The Cloud Wine REGULAR wine course offers a unique balance between information and fun. You will learn to describe your taste preference and understand how climate, grape variety and winemaking choices influence the style of a wine. On top of this you will practice with recognizing aromas in the exclusive ‘aromatraining’. Lastly, discover the wine nerd in you with the free digital course book. In this complete guide you will find useful information about the world of wine and more.
The last session of the wine course contains an exam to test your newly acquired wine knowledge and skills. When you successfully complete it you will receive the coveted Cloud Wine diploma in wine!
Most wines that you are going to taste during the course are sustainably selected and always of (very) high quality. Prices range from €10 to €30 which means you will taste close to € 350 worth of wine!
Aim of the course
- Know all three parts of the Wine Triangle: grape variety, climate and winemaking
- Understand how these components influence your wine choices
- Determine the wine style of a wine using the tasting method
- Describe why you do or don’t like a wine in line with your taste preference
- Recognize important grape varieties and their traffic light colour
- Know which wine style to expect from well-known wine countries and regions

It really helps if you first take the LIGHT course. However this is not mandatory.
